A message dated May 21, 2003, was read stating the Senate has failed                                
to concur in the House amendment to CSSB 183(STA), namely:                                          
                                                                                                    
     HOUSE CS FOR CS FOR SENATE BILL NO. 183(CRA) am H                                              
     "An Act relating to municipal property taxation in annexed and                                 
     detached areas; and authorizing certain boroughs to use revenue                                
     collected on an areawide or nonareawide basis for economic                                     
     development; and providing for an effective date."                                             
                                                                                                    
and respectfully requests the House to recede from its amendment.
